ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a furniture kit comprising at least one panel having at least substantially planar top and bottom surfaces at least one male fastening member provided on the bottom surface, and at least one second modular member; and at least one leg having top, bottom and side surfaces in respective intersecting plane and a recess provided at the top surface, the recess is adapted to tightly fit the male fastening member to laterally secure the engaged male and recess and the bottom surface of the leg is adapted to rest on a substantially horizontal surface, whereby in assembly the leg supports the panel above a substantially horizontal surface.
