The present invention relates to a modular heating system (1) for large vehicles. At least one elongated heating element module (2) is suitable for horizontal mounting along an interior wall and near the floor of said vehicle. The heating element module (2) comprises a convector (3) consisting of at least one essentially longitudinally extending pipe (4a) arranged to conduct a heating medium. The pipe (4a) is provided with a plurality of mutually spaced fins (5) transversely mounted thereto. The system further comprises at least one blower module (7) comprising at least one fan (8). The blower module (7) is selectively attachable to said heating element module (2) at an arbitrary position along the extension thereof adjacent to said fins (5) and further arranged to be selectively operable to produce a forced airflow through said plurality of fins (5) in a direction from a side of said convector (3) intended to be mounted facing upwards towards a side thereof intended to be mounted facing downwards.
La présente invention se rapporte à un système de chauffage modulaire (1) pour véhicules de grandes dimensions. Au moins un module oblong à éléments chauffants (2) est conçu pour un montage horizontal le long d'une paroi intérieure et à proximité du plancher dudit véhicule. Ce module à éléments chauffants (2) comporte un convecteur (3) composé d'au moins un tuyau s'étendant sensiblement longitudinalement (4a) conçu pour le transport d'un milieu chauffant. Ce tuyau (4a) est doté d'une pluralité d'ailettes mutuellement espacées (5) montées transversalement par rapport audit tuyau. Ce système comporte également au moins un module ventilateur (7) comportant au moins une ailette (8). Ce module ventilateur (7) est fixé de manière sélective audit module à éléments chauffants (2) au niveau d'une position arbitraire suivant l'extension longitudinale dudit module, en position adjacente auxdites ailettes (5), et il est par ailleurs conçu pour être actionné sélectivement de manière à produire un flux d'air forcé à travers ladite pluralité d'ailettes (5) dirigé d'un côté dudit convecteur (3) conçu pour être monté de manière à être tourné vers le haut en direction vers un côté du convecteur conçu pour être monté de manière à être tourné vers le bas.
