The invention relates to a power converter in the form of a multi-level circuit, for converting direct current into alternating current or vice versa. Said power converter comprises at least one capacitor and at least two semiconductor power switches. The or each capacitor comprises a pair of connectors for connecting the capacitor to at least two semiconductor power switches. The aim of the invention is to create, as far as possible, a low-inductive, long-life and cost-effective electrical connection between the capacitors and the power switches. In order to achieve this, the or each capacitor comprises at least one other pair of connectors in order to connect the capacitor to at least two semiconductor power switches or a direct current network.
Redresseur (1) à montage à plusieurs niveaux pour la conversion de courant continu en courant alternatif ou inversement. Ledit redresseur (1) comporte au moins un condensateur (2) et au moins deux commutateurs de puissance (3) à semi-conducteur. Chaque condensateur (2) comprend une paire de contacts (10, 11) pour la connexion du condensateur (2) à au moins deux commutateurs de puissance (3) à semi-conducteur. Selon la présente invention, chaque condensateur (2) comporte au moins une autre paire de contacts (10, 11) pour la connexion dudit condensateur (2) à au moins deux commutateurs de puissance (3) à semi-conducteur ou à un réseau de courant continu, ce qui permet de réaliser une liaison électrique qui soit, dans la mesure du possible, faiblement inductive, à longue durée de vie et peu onéreuse, entre les condensateurs (2) et les commutateurs de puissance (3).
