ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The disclosure relates to a MODULAR POWER OPERABLE JAW TOOL providing for optional selection of symetrical or asyrnetrical camming jaw type work head modules and battery powered or pneumatic power handle modules by the standardization or interface between said modules All power handle modules have an output shaft of the linear acting, non-rotational, manually selected fixed stroke type with an axial externally threaded section at the interface end. All power handle module bodies have an externally threaded anular projection coaxial with said output shaft. All work head modules have an axial non-rotational camming shaft with an interface communicative axial externally threaded cavity. All work head module bodies have a coaxial knurled collar nut held captive on the interface end of their cylindrical bodies by work jaws on the work end and a peripheral flange on the interface end of the body. The knurled collar nut is free to move coaxially and rotate within these limits specified. Interfacing of work head module to power handle module is manual requiring axial alignment, engagement and rotational securement of the camming shafts communicative axial internally threaded cavity with the communicative compatible axial externally threaded section of the output shaft in the power handle module. The work head module body is united to the power handle module body manually by the alignment, engagement and rotational securement of the coaxial knurled collar nut on the work head module and the compatible coaxial externally threaded anular projection of the power handle module body to complete the union.
