Abstract A modular space framed structure is constructed using uniform components to provide the desired geometry of the modular structure. Rigid Y-shaped joints having three branches are interconnected to form the structure. The interconnection of first and second branches of adjacent devices defines horizontal frames at each level in the structure and the interconnection of aligned ones of the third branches of adjacent devices defines the vertical legs of structure.
