A modular system for providing bicycles at a given location according to a desired configuration, the system comprising at least one bicycle rack for storing a bicycle, each bicycle rack comprising an electronic lock for removably securing a corresponding bicycle thereto, each bicycle rack further comprising a corresponding attaching means having an electrical connector operatively coupled to the electronic lock, an energy providing means for providing energy to each electronic lock, the energy providing means comprising a corresponding attaching means having a connector operatively coupled thereto and a structure to be installed at the given location, the structure comprising an elongated base, a plurality of spaced-apart receiving means located on the base, each of the spaced-apart receiving means being adapted for receiving a selected attaching means from the at least one bicycle rack and the energy providing means according to the desired configuration and an electric network interconnecting each of the spaced-apart receiving means to thereby provide a modular system for providing bicycles.
L'invention concerne un système de mise à disposition de bicyclettes à un emplacement donné selon une configuration souhaitée, le système incluant au moins un support pour bicyclette destiné à recevoir une bicyclette, chaque support pour bicyclette étant muni d'un verrou électronique destiné à fixer de manière amovible une bicyclette correspondante à celui-ci, chaque support pour bicyclette comportant en outre un moyen de fixation correspondant possédant un connecteur électrique couplé de manière fonctionnelle au verrou électronique, un moyen de fourniture d'énergie destiné à fournir de l'énergie à chaque verrou électronique, le moyen de fourniture d'énergie comportant un moyen de fixation correspondant possédant un connecteur couplé de manière fonctionnelle à celui-ci et une structure à installer à l'emplacement considéré, la structure comportant une base allongée, une pluralité de moyens de réception espacés situés sur la base, chacun des moyens de réception espacés étant adapté pour recevoir un moyen de fixation sélectionné du ou des supports pour bicyclette et du moyen de fourniture d'énergie selon la configuration souhaitée et un réseau électrique interconnectant chacun des moyens de réception espacés afin d'offrir ainsi un système modulaire de mise à disposition de bicyclettes.
