The inventive modular tent consists of the following: a. a central tent, comprising a frame and a piece of fabric stretched over said frame and at least one opening in a vertical plane; b. at least one complementary element which is connected to the central tent in a manner corresponding to the opening, by connecting means. According to the invention, the opening and the complementary element have a vertical axis of symmetry and the connecting means consists of first (13, 19) and second (14, 21) means which can cooperate which each other and which are arranged according to the edge of the opening of the central tent and according to the corresponding edge of the complementary element. The first means (13, 19) correspond to the same side (11, 18) (right or left) of the opening and the complementary element and second means 14, 21) are on the other side (12, 20) (left or right) on each side of the axis of symmetry.
La tente modulaire est constituée: a. d'une tente centrale comportant une armature et une toile tendue sur ladite armature, présentant au moins une ouverture formée dans un plan vertical, b. et d'au moins un élément complémentaire, raccordé à la tente centrale selon ladite ouverture grâce à des moyens de raccordement. Selon l'invention l'ouverture et l'élément complémentaire ont un axe vertical de symétrie et les moyens de raccordement consistent en des premiers (13, 19) et des seconds (14, 21) moyens aptes à coopérer les uns avec les autres, disposés selon le bord de l'ouverture de la tente centrale et selon le bord correspondant de l'élément complémentaire, les premiers moyens (13, 19) étant selon le même côté (11, 18) (droit ou gauche) de l'ouverture et de l'élément complémentaire, et les seconds moyens (14, 21) étant de l'autre côté (12, 20) (gauche ou droit), de part et d'autre de l'axe de symétrie.
