ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A modular thoracic drainage device having one or more preformed plastic "bottles" or chamber members which can selectively connected together to provide "one-bottle", "two-bottle", "three-bottle" and "four- bottle" systems. The members can be connected together in a "four-bottle" system which includes a preformed drainage collector chamber, a liquid seal chamber, a pressure regulating manometer chamber, and a second liquid seal and direct reading manometer chamber. Each member has an integral connector for use in effecting fluid communication with another chamber and the chambers are provided with complementary coupling portions for receiving locking pins to secure adjacent members in fixed relationship.
