A modular wall panel ready for installation in a medical facility, said panel having at least one medical gas conduit positioned therein. The modular wall panel has a pair of opposed side sections and a frame to support each of the side sections. The panel has a pair of longitudinal edge regions, the frame including a generally upright frame portion extending along each of the longitudinal edge regions to form a passage therealong for engagement with an adjacent wall panel. The spacing between the upright frame portions and the spacing between the opposed side sections together define an inner cavity. Preferably, the upright frame portion is U-shaped and at least one generally U-shaped transverse frame portion extends between the longitudinal frame portions and the transverse frame portion includes an aperture therein and a medical gas conduit extends through the cavity and the is positioned in the aperture.
