This invention involves the use of a number of component-containing modules each assembled together to form a conventional computer except that the computer is body worn and has beat-controlling aspects. One of the heat-controlling aspects is at least one or preferably each side of the module has a heat-air vent as a component of its side. Another heat-controlling item is the selection of heat or non-heat conducting materials to construct the module sides. It is preferable that module sides adjacent a user's body be of a heat-insulating material.
