The invention relates to modulating the SIRP.alpha. - CD47 interaction in order to increase hematopoietic stem cell en-graftment and compounds therefor. In some embodiments, there is provided isolated SIRP.alpha. and CD47 polypeptides, fragments and fusion proteins for enhancing hematopoietic stem cell engraftment. Further there is provided methods for increasing hematopoietic stem cell engraftment through administration of the above polypeptides.
L'invention concerne la modulation de l'interaction SIRPa - CD47, afin d'augmenter la prise de greffe des cellules souches hématopoïétiques, et leurs composés. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention propose les polypeptides SIRPa et CD47 isolés, des fragments et des protéines de fusion, pour améliorer la prise de greffe des cellules souches hématopoïétiques. L'invention propose en outre des procédés pour augmenter la prise de greffe des cellules souches hématopoïétiques par l'administration des polypeptides ci-dessus.
