Ribavirin? is administered to a patient in a dosage range which is effective to modulate lymphokine expression in activated T cells. In particular, Ribavirin? is used to suppress Th2-mediated T cell responses and promote Th1- mediated T cell response. In other aspects of the invention, one or more Ribavirin? analogs are administered to a patient in a dosage range which is effective to modulate lymphokine expression in activated T cells. The Ribavirin? analog(s) may be used to suppress or enhance Th1 or Th2-mediated T cell responses.

On administre la Ribavirine? à un patient dans une plage posologique efficace de façon à moduler l'expression de la lymphokine dans les lymphocytes T activés. On utilise la Ribavirine? pour supprimer les réponses des lymphocytes T induites par Th2 et favoriser la réponse des lymphocytes T induites par Th1. Selon d'autres aspects de l'invention, on administre un ou plusieurs analogues de la Ribavirine? à un patient dans une plage posologique efficace de façon à moduler l'expression de la lymphokine dans les lymphocytes T activés.
