ABSTRACT Disclosed are novel stable aqueous dispersions of ionic polyurethane-polyureas prepared from (A) aqueous dispersions of isocyanate terminated ionic prepolymers and (B) hydrocarbon polyamine extenders. The essential feature of the present invention resides in employing a mixture of a diol and triol in the prepolymer forming step. Also disclosed are the films and coated substrates obtained through the use of said dispersions as coatings.
