The invention relates to a device for determining the level of a liquid, at least comprising a radar antenna disposed above the liquid for emitting radar waves to the liquid and receiving radar waves reflected by the surface of the liquid, as well as means for determining the liquid level on the basis of the emitted and reflected radar waves, wherein the radar antenna has an emitting surface which is directed downwards at the liquid and which is horizontally oriented with respect to the surface of the liquid, which emitting surface is provided with means that promote the discharge of condensation that is present on the emitting surface.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant de déterminer le niveau d'un liquide. Ce dispositif comprend au moins une antenne radar placée au dessus du liquide afin d'émettre des ondes radar vers le liquide et de recevoir les ondes radar réfléchies par la surface dudit liquide. Le dispositif comprend également un moyen permettant de déterminer le niveau du liquide sur la base des ondes radar émises et réfléchies. Selon le mode de réalisation décrit dans cette invention, l'antenne radar présente une surface émettrice orientée vers le bas en direction du liquide et orientée horizontalement par rapport à la surface du liquide. La surface émettrice est pourvue de moyens favorisant l'élimination de la condensation se trouvant sur la surface émettrice.
