ABSTRACT A moisture-proof box for moist towlets laying in direct contact with each other to form a stack has an opening at the upper surface above the stack and a tongue- or a sheet-like sealing member secured by one end at the upper surface of the box. The sealing member is of such length and width that it can cover the opening to form a moisture-proof seal when the sealing member abuts the edge of the opening, is made of a resilient material and is so attached at the upper surface of the box that it can temporarily be lifted to expose the opening in the box and automatically return to its closing position when released. The sealing member has a projecting gripping portion at its free edge portion and may be attached to a lid of the box.
