A dryer appliance for demoisturizing a moisture sensitive item (24) such as an electronic hearing aid, tooth brush, or the like, having a housing (10) with a removable closure cap or door (12) for providing a substantially sealed chamber (14) and access thereto, a desiccant component (16) mounted in the chamber (14), wall means (15) substantially dividing the chamber (14) into first (18) and second (20) regions, a support (22) in the chamber (14) for supporting at least one item (24) within the first region (18), one or more passages (19, 60, 62) interconnecting the first (18) and second (20) regions for providing a gas flow circulation path (28) therethrough, gas moving (30) and heater (36) means mounted in the chamber (14), the circulation path (28) of air in the chamber (14) being such as to bring the air into recirculating contact with the gas moving (30) and heater (36) means and the item (24) for a prescribed period of time to demoisturize the item (24).
L'invention concerne un dispositif de séchage pour déshumidifier un article (24) sensible à l'humidité, tel qu'un appareil auditif électronique, une brosse à dent électrique etc. Ce dispositif comporte un boîtier (10) avec un couvercle ou un volet (12) d'obturation amovible formant une chambre (14) sensiblement hermétique et un accès à cette dernière, un élément (16) de dessiccation fixé dans la chambre (14), des éléments de type parois (15) divisant sensiblement la chambre (14) en une première (18) et une seconde (20) zone, un support (22) dans la chambre (14) pour soutenir au moins un article (24) dans la première zone (18), un ou plusieurs passage(s) (19, 60, 62) reliant la première (18) et la seconde (20) zone de façon à établir une voie (28) traversante de circulation du flux gazeux, des moyens de circulation (30) et de chauffage (36) de gaz, montés dans la chambre (14), la voie (28) de circulation d'air dans la chambre (14) étant conçue pour amener de l'air recyclé en contact avec les moyens de circulation (30) et de chauffage (36) de gaz et l'article (24), pendant la période de temps prescrite pour déshumidifier ledit article (24).
