ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A front oil chamber and a rear oil chamber for oil pressure of a clamping cylinder is connected each other by a connecting path provided in a piston section of a clamping ram, when the piston section moves for mold opening or mold closure, the oil travels between the front and rear chambers via the connecting path to prevent generating negative pressure in the clamping cylinder. At that time, oil is introduced into or discharged from the clamping cylinder from or to a charge tank, too, via a second open-close valve. During mold clamping after mold closure, the second open-close valve is closed to move a first open-close valve to close the connecting path of the piston section of the clamping ram for tight clamping. At that time, the front oil chamber of the clamping cylinder is kept at low pressure by a relief valve, During mold opening, the oil is supplied to an oil chamber for valve opening from an oil chamber for mold opening via a through-hole bored in the clamping ram to open the connecting path of the piston section of the clamping ram. In the present invention, the front oil chamber of the clamping cylinder and the charge tank are kept at low Pressure throughout cycle, they need not be a pressure proof structure. And the oil circuit for operating the first open-close valve can be simple.
