MOLD FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A copper alloy 15 used for molds for continuous casting, the alloy being comprised of 0.2 to 1.2% Ni, 0.04 to 0.25% P, the remainder being copper and inevitable impurities, all percentages by weight. The material is hot worked into a mold or a preliminary mold part configuration, quenched, cold worked with at least 10% deformation and annealled at 350 to 500 degrees C up to eight hours.
