Abstract of the Disclosure The instant invention is directed to novel mold release agents for polyurethane resins and to the use thereof, particularly in the closed mold foaming of polyurethane foams. The mold release agents disclosed herein are applied to the surface of the mold prior to molding and broadly comprise (1) a polyurethane abherent and (2) a metallic compound which promotes or catalyzes the reaction between isocyanate groups and active hydrogens. The promotor of catalyst is used in an amount sufficient to prevent skin delamination of the molded part when it is removed from the mold.
