ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a polyamide resin which contains a flameproofing agent selected from a cyanuric acid compound having the formula Image or Image (I) (II) wherein R is same or different and represents hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group or a mixture of said compounds. The flameproofing agent has the advantage that the mechanical pro- perties of the flameproofed polyamide are similar to the poly- amide per se.
