The invention relates to a molded brick, in particular made from concrete, for laying ground coverings (10, 30), the molded brick (11, 12, 31, 32, 33) having an upper side (13) which is delimited in the transition to upright side faces (15, 16, 17, 18) by a side edge (20) which frames the upper side (13). There is provision according to the invention for the course of the side edge (20) to be of curved configuration at least in regions and to correspond to a mathematical function, the course of the side edge (20) preferably corresponding at least in regions to the function f(x) = a * ln(x) + b.

Linvention concerne une brique, en particulier en béton, pour la pose de revêtements de terre (10, 30), la brique (11, 12, 31, 32, 33) comprenant une face supérieure (13) délimitée, dans la transition vers des surfaces latérales verticales (15, 16, 17, 18), par un bord latéral (20) entourant la face supérieure (13). Lobjet de linvention est que le tracé du bord latéral (20) soit incurvé au moins par endroits et corresponde à une fonction mathématique, le tracé du bord latéral (20) correspondant de préférence au moins par endroits à la fonction (x) = a * ln(x) + b.
