Abstract of the Disclosure: 1. Multifunctional molded block 2.1 Individual elements of flagstones or lattice-type blocks for lawns may be pressed into the earth by heavy loads owing to their vertical contact surfaces. In the course of time, this leads to irregularities which cause a high level of accidents and to considerable soil compaction. The novel molded base elements, preferably produced from recycled plastics, together prevent this as a result of their inclined contact surfaces. 2.2 This is achieved by shaping the base module so that it is open on one side, limited by side walls (S1, S, S2), rhomboid (SF1+2) in longitudinal section and polygonal and/or arc-shaped in cross-section. Additional slots, holes or grooves extend the load-bearing capacity and functionality to meet requirements. 2.3 As a result of any desired combination with one another and connection to one another, individual base modules permit horizontal to vertical consolidation of soils so that they have a high load-bearing capacity, and also permit planting as well as a free-standing, self- supporting three-dimensional lattice construction. 3. Attached drawing No. 3
