An apparatus for molding an article such as pre-cast, cement or concrete blocks, bricks, pavers, tiles and the like including a deformable mold and a movement imparting device. The deformable mold includes compartments or cavities for receiving material therein that is to be molded. Once the material has solidified so as to produce articles, the movement imparting device causes the defomable mold to curve thereby providing for the compartments to disengage from the solidified articles.
