Ophthalmic lens are made by reacting a lens forming mixture in a mold to form a polymer. The polymer is then demolded from the mold and processed into a completed lens. The molds are made of at least two parts, a first part having a surface for forming the polymer into a portion of the lens and a second part having a surface for forming the polymer into a portion of the lens. The first and second parts of the mold each have different surface energies.

L'invention concerne des lentilles ophtalmiques fabriquées par réaction d'un mélange de moulage de lentille dans un moule permettant de façonner un polymère. Le polymère est ensuite démoulé puis transformé en une lentille finie. Les moules comprennent au moins deux parties. Une première partie présentant une surface permettant de façonner le polymère dans une portion de la lentille, et une seconde partie présentant une surface permettant de façonner le polymère dans une portion de la lentille. Les première et seconde parties du moule présentent chacune des énergies de surface différentes.
