An apparatus 11 for estimating the circadian time in an individual organism based on the data of the gene expression product amount of a sample collected from the individual organism. This apparatus has a circadian oscillation gene selection means of selecting a circadian oscillation gene which shows a time- lapse change in the data of the gene expression product amount in a standard sample similar to a cosine wave having a definite time cycle; a circadian expression change curve selection means of selecting a circadian expression change curve which is similar to a time-lapse change in the gene expression product amount of the thus selected circadian oscillation gene from among a plural number of cosine waves having a definite time cycle and different phases; and a registration means of registering the data by which the thus selected circadian expression change curve is specified.
L'invention concerne un appareil (11) destiné à estimer la durée circadienne dans un organisme d'individu basé sur les données de la quantité de produit d'expression génique dans un échantillon prélevé dans cet organisme. Cet appareil comprend des moyens de sélection permettant de sélectionner un gène d'oscillation circadienne montrant une changement intermittent des données de la quantité de produit d'expression génique, dans un échantillon standard, semblable à une onde cosinusoïdale de cycle temporel défini, des moyens permettant de sélectionner une courbe de changement d'expression circadienne semblable à un changement intermittent dans la quantité de produit d'expression génique du gène d'oscillation circadienne sélectionné, parmi plusieurs ondes cosinusoïdales de cycle temporel défini et de phases différentes, et des moyens d'enregistrement des données par lesquelles la courbe de changement d'expression circadienne sélectionnée est spécifiée.
