A multiple cell monoblock battery (1) in which a plurality of electrochemical cells (3) are disposed in a plastic or metal case and each of the cells includes an enclosure (11) providing for gas to exit while preventing electrolyte to exit the enclosure. A novel integral system of flow channels (109) allows liquid coolant to flow between adjacent cells. Other special features, such as cell interconnections (15a and 15b) are described.
La présente invention concerne une batterie monobloc à cellules multiples (1) dans laquelle sont disposées plusieurs cellules électrochimiques (3) dans une enveloppe plastique ou métallique. Chacune de ces cellules comprend une enceinte (11) permettant au gaz de s'échapper, tout en empêchant l'électrolyte de sortir de l'enceinte. Un nouveau système solidaire de voies d'écoulements (109) permet au liquide de refroidissement de s'écouler entre les cellules adjacentes. Par ailleurs, cette invention concerne d'autres caractéristiques, notamment les interconnexions cellulaires (15a et 15b).
