Abstract of the disclosure A description is given of monoclonal antibodies which bind a protein antigen whi?h has a molecular weight (MW) of 72 + 3 KD under non-reducing conditions or reduc- ing conditions, a glycoprotein antigen which has a MW > 200 KD under non-reducing conditions, and which is not identical to F VIIIR:AG by serology, three glycoprotein antigens which have a molecular weight of 180 + 10 KD, 95 + 10 KD or 55 + 10 KD under non-reducing conditions, or a glycoprotein antigen which has a MW > 200 KD under non-reducing conditions, and which is not identical to EMA. These antigens and the epitopes which are located on them and are defined by monoclonal antibodies are additionally characterized by occurrence on particular cells and tissues. These antibodies can be used as diagnostic aids, therapeutic agents or as carriers for a pharmaceutically active compound.
