The present invention comprises monoclonal antibodies reactive with native C- reactive protein (CRP) and modified CRP having the specificities described herein. The invention also comprises the hybridomas used to produce these antibodies. Monoclonal antibody 3H l2 is used to show inhibition binding and a lack of inhibition binding by use of peptides. The claimed antibodies may be used to detect or quantitate native CRP and modified CRP, and kits for performing such assays are part of the invention.
L'invention concerne des anticorps monoclonaux réagissant avec la protéine réactive C (PRC) native et la PRC modifiée dont les spécificités sont décrites dans l'invention. L'invention concerne également les hybridomes utilisés pour produire ces anticorps.
