Methods for producing antigenic preparations to generate the hybridoma cell lines and for selecting, purifying and characterizing the monoclonal antibodies reactive with human cells, including pancreatic cancer cells, are disclosed. The antigens to which the antibodies of the invention are specific are characterized.
