A method or platform for monoclonal antibody based biomarker discovery is disclosed. The method according to the invention provides for the integration of analyte collection, hybridoma screening and nanovolume integrated mass spectrometry (NVIMS) to achieve a robust screening system that is capable, for example, of cutting 4-6 years off of the classical biomarker discovery and development process. The invention provides a platform for the rapid, high- throughput production, isolation and characterization of, e.g., disease specific biomarkers together with highly specific monoclonal antibodies. The method of the invention has a variety of applications such as, but not limited to, drug testing, biohazard applications, ecological applications, physilogical applications and/or pathology screening applications. The method of the invention is also capable of being performed or used as or with a high- throughput screening process or system of the invention.
La présente invention a trait à un procédé ou une plate-forme de découverte et de développement de biomarqueurs à base d'anticorps monoclonaux. Le procédé selon l'invention prévoit l'intégration de la collecte d'analytes, le criblage d'hybridomes et la spectrométrie de masse intégrée de nanovolumes pour réaliser un système de criblage capable, par exemple, de réduire de 4 à 6 ans le processus classique de découverte et de développement de biomarqueurs. L'invention a trait à une plate-forme pour la production, l'isolement et la caractérisation rapide à haut rendement, par exemple, de biomarqueurs spécifiques de maladie conjointement avec des anticorps monoclonaux à spécificité élevée. Le procédé de l'invention présente une variété d'applications telles que, mais de manière non limitative, l'essai de médicaments, des applications de risques biologiques, des applications écologiques, des application physiologiques et/ou des applications de dépistage pathologique. Le procédé de l'invention est également apte à être effectué ou utilisé comme ou avec un processus ou système de criblage à haut rendement de l'invention.
