Disclosed are: a pharmaceutical composition which comprises a monoclonal antibody capable of binding specifi-cally to an AD1 region of gB glycoprotein of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) (which is a virus causing various disease condi-tions) and having an excellent neutralizing ability for HCMV and an antigen-binding fragment of the monoclonal antibody; a monoclonal antibody which can bind specifically to a discontinuous sequence occurring in an AD1 region of HCMV and has an excellent neutralizing ability for HCMV and an inhibitory ability on the intercellular infection of HCMV, and an antigen-binding fragment of the monoclonal antibody; a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody or a fragment thereof; and others.
L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique comprenant un anticorps monoclonal pouvant se lier spécifiquement à une région AD1 d'une glycoprotéine gB de cytomégalovirus humain (HCMV) (virus causant des affections variées) et présentant une excellente capacité à neutraliser le HCMV, et un fragment de liaison à un antigène de cet anticorps monoclonal. L'invention concerne également un anticorps monoclonal pouvant se lier spécifiquement à une séquence discontinue apparaissant dans une région AD1 de cytomégalovirus humain et présentant une excellente capacité à neutraliser le HCMV et une activité inhibitrice sur une infection intercellulaire HCMV; et un fragment de liaison à un antigène de cet anticorps monoclonal. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique comprenant ledit anticorps ou un fragment de celui-ci; et analogues.
