A method of making small mirrors for laser applications. A relatively large substrate is deposited with a mirror to make a mirror-substrate combination. Mirror assemblies of a desired size are then cut out of the mirror-substrate combination. Savings occur in that only mirrors which meet quality standards are then subject to secondary processing for specific applications.
