Monolithic matrix formulations for transder- mal administration of an active agent, include in combination as copolymer 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and methacrylic acid. Transdermal delivery devices having a monolithic matrix (4) made using such a formulation in com- bination with an active agent and a vehicle or vehi- cle formulation are capable of delivering the active agent at skin flux rates suitable for transdermal ad- ministration of the active agent.
