23189-5936 ABSTRACT Monosilylated aminophenylethylamine derivative of the formula Image in which X and Y each independently is hydrogen or halogen, R1 is the radical Image R2 is hydrogen or an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having up to 10C atoms, R3 is hydrogen, an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical which can optionally be substituted by halogen, a phenyl radical which can optionally be substituted by halogen, hydroxyl, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, alkylthio, optionally substituted phenoxy, optionally substituted phenylthio, cyano or trifluoromethyl, or a heterocyclic radical, or, together with R2 is a nitrogen-containing saturated heterocyclic radical, and R4, R5 and R6 each independently is an alkyl radical, or physiologically tolerated salts thereof, promote the growth of animals.
