A mooring pole line attachment device is disclosed comprised of a buoyant base, cylindrical sleeve and at least one line engagement means. The buoyant base includes an outer cover, inner coil and is filled with a buoyant material. The base also includes a central bore therethrough having a diameter sufficient to receive the cylindrical sleeve therewithin and to allow the base to be affixed to the sleeve so that inferior termini of both base and sleeve align. The cylindrical sleeve is a tubular structure having a central bore of a sufficient diameter to allow placement of the device upon a mooring pole and to allow for sliding thereupon. The sleeve includes parallel, circumferential rings and grooves utilized as attachment points for mooring ropes. The device is placed upon a mooring pole and, due to its buoyancy, floats and thereby adjusts its position upon the pole in accordance with changes in water level. The device thus provides a point of mooring line attachment for a boat that moves up and down with changing tides while additionally providing protection for both boat and mooring pole from collision therebetween.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de fixation de lignes pour poteau d'amarrage comprenant une base flottante, un manchon cylindrique et au moins un moyen de contact de ligne. La base flottante comprend un revêtement externe et un serpentin interne, et elle est remplie de matériau flottant. Ladite base comporte également un alésage central traversant présentant un diamètre suffisant pour recevoir le manchon cylindrique et permettre la fixation de la base sur le manchon, de sorte que les extrémités inférieures de la base et du manchon soient alignées. Le manchon cylindrique est une structure tubulaire comportant un alésage central d'un diamètre suffisant pour permettre le placement du dispositif sur un poteau d'amarrage et permettre le coulissement du dispositif sur le poteau. Le manchon comprend des anneaux circonférentiels parallèles et des rainures utilisés comme points de fixation pour les amarres. Le dispositif est placé sur un poteau d'amarrage et, du fait de sa flottabilité, flotte, ce qui permet d'ajuster sa position sur le poteau en fonction des changements de niveau d'eau. Le dispositif selon l'invention constitue donc un point de fixation de lignes pour un bateau montant et descendant au gré des marées, ainsi qu'une protection empêchant les collisions entre le bateau et le poteau d'amarrage.
