ABSTRACT Polarizing filter disks are adjusted to cut down light exposure on each film frame in order to match the reduction in the number of film frames exposed per second in the motion picture camera, and thereby equalize the amount of light transmitted to each film frame regardless of the speed of operation of the camera. In this way different lens assemblies of different focal lengths, each with its own T-stop adjustment, can be detachably mounted on the camera housing behind the polarizing filter disks. Accordingly, changing of the camera speed does not require any change in T-stop setting which would change the depth of field.
