MOTOR DRIVEN CAM ACTIVATED TIMER SWITCH Abstract of the Disclosure A timing mechanism wherein more compactness and better alignment between a cam lobe and switches operated by the cam lobe is accomplished. The timing mechanism has two housings next to each other, one for a gear train and another for the switches. A gear of the gear train has a hub portion with a cam lobe extending into the switch housing. A cover of the switch housing has a circular portion that aligns with a bearing surface of an opening through which the hub portion extends.
