A motor (1) for a plate (14) of a labelling machine comprises a housing (2) with a connecting portion (3) for connecting the motor (1) to a carrousel (4) of the labelling machine, a motor shaft (7) pivotally supported within the housing (2), a coupling flange (11) having a first end (12) connected to the motor shaft (7) and a second end (13) that can be connected to the plate (14). The motor (1) defines a through opening (28), which is substantially parallel to the motor shaft (7)that allow alignment means to have access to the plate (14) through the motor (1).
