MOTOR OIL COMPOSITIONS, ADDITIVE CONCENTRATES FOR PRODUCING SUCH MOTOR OILS, AND THE USE THEREOF Abstract Lubricants and additive concentrates comprising: (a) a dispersant made by reacting aminoguanidine or a basic salt thereof with an acyclic hydrocarbyl succinic acylating agent in a mole ratio of 0.4:1 to 1.3:1, respectively; b) a zinc dihydrocarbyl dithiophosphate in which at least 35 mol per- cent of the hydrocarbyl groups are secondary hydrocarbyl groups; and c) a basic calcium detergent additive complement exhibit excellent performance characteristics.
