MOTOR VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM Inventor: William Charles Paulson ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and apparatus for automatically actuating the braking system of a vehicle, in which contact of the vehicle with an obstruction is detected as the vehicle moves backwards and a signal is generated. A sensor senses the backward movement of the vehicle and arms a system which causes brake application on detection of the signal.
