An end module assembly has an internal support structure (100). An exterior fascia is mounted to the internal support structure. The fascia is configured to be a portion of a vehicle body assembly when the end module assembly is installed on the vehicle. An external visible component is mounted to the support structure in a fixed relationship with respect to the fascia in proper alignment with respect to the fascia with a surface thereof facing exteriorly of the fascia. A bumper beam (112) and bumper beam mounting structure connects the bumper beam to the inter-nal support structure. A mounting structure is connected to the support structure for attaching the support structure to mounting points on the partially completed motor vehicle. The mount-ing structure permits selective repositioning of the end module assembly in a longitudinal, vertical and horizontal direction relative to the partially completed motor vehicle whereby the fascia is alignable with respect to the remaining portions of the vehicle body assembly prior to secure en-gagement of the end module to the partially com-pleted motor vehicle.

La présente invention concerne un assemblage (100) de module arrière d'un véhicule possédant une structure de support interne. Le carénage est configuré de façon à constituer une portion d'un assemblage de corps de véhicule lorsque l'assemblage de module arrière est installé sur le véhicule. Un composant externe visible est monté sur la structure de support en relation fixe par rapport au carénage, en alignement correct par rapport au carénage, et dont une surface est exposée extérieurement au carénage. Une poutre (112) de pare-chocs et une structure de monte de poutre de pare-chocs relie la poutre de pare-chocs à la structure de support interne. Une structure de montage est reliée à la structure de support afin d'attacher la structure de support aux points de montage sur le véhicule partiellement complet. La structure de montage permet un repositionnement sélectif de l'assemblage de module arrière dans des directions longitudinale, horizontale et verticale par rapport au véhicule partiellement complet, avec la possibilité d'aligner le carénage par rapport aux parties restantes de l'assemblage du corps de véhicule, avant la fixation du module arrière au véhicule partiellement complété.
