ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A motor vehicle frame comprises longitudinally extending side members and cross members connecting the two side members. Each side member has a front stamped section including a C-shaped channel member with a top flanges, bottom flanfe and vertical interconnecting portion connecting the top and bottom flanges at the inner edges thereof. The top flange has two opposing and spaced apart upwardly extending portions forming a taller section of the longitudinal side member. The taller section has seat means integrally formed therewith for securing thereon a spring member which is connectable to a wheel assembly of the motor vehicle.
