A motorcycle stand composed of a frame on castor wheels, wherein the frame has a central portion sized to retain a section of a motorcycle wheel. The central portion has a pair of parallel members, separated by a width equal to about the width of a given tire of a motorcycle. Preferably, the central protion will also have a plurality of recessed members connecting the pair of parallel members. The recessed members serve to support a bottom section of the motorcycle tire placed thereon. The parallel members are fixedly retained by a third member, at a distal end of the pair of parallel members. A fourth member, may provided to close the central portion at the at the other distal end of the pair of parallel members. The fourth member may be releasably slidable through a section of the distal end of the pair of parallel members, or pivotable about one of the distal ends of and attachable to the other distal end.
