A lift for a vehicle comprising a support platform for supporting a vehicle; scissor structure displaceably secured beneath the support platform for lifting the support platform and vehicle; a first and second U-shaped rod, each rod having two ends connected together at their ends for pivotal movement thereabout so as to releasably secure at least one wheel of a vehicle relative the platform so as to permit a vehicle to be raised and lowered on the platform.
