The invention concerns moulded bodies of humus-containing plant substrate hardened with polyurethane/polyurea. The moulded bodies are obtained by suspending humus-containing plant substrate in water, admixing a liquid NCO prepolymer with an NCO content of at most 15 wt.%, prepared by reacting toluylene diisocyanate with a polyetherpolyol component, containing between 0.5 and 100 mol % of at least one aminopolyetherpolyol relative to the polyol component, introducing the resultant mixture into a mould and leaving it to harden. The invention further concerns a process for producing these moulded bodies and their use as growth media for seedlings in plant cultivation and breeding.

L'invention a pour objet des corps moulés en un substrat végétal humique durci au polyuréthanne/polyurée, que l'on obtient en mettant en suspension dans l'eau un substrat végétal humique, en ajoutant un prépolymère NCO liquide à teneur en NCO de 15 % en poids maximum, que l'on a préparé en faisant réagir du toluylènediisocyanate avec un composant polyéther-polyol renfermant au moins un aminopolyéther-polyol, à raison de 0,5 à 100 % en moles, par rapport au composant polyol, en introduisant le mélange ainsi obtenu dans un moule, puis en laissant le produit durcir. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de production de ces corps moulés, ainsi que leur utilisation comme milieu de croissance pour des semis en culture végétale.
