A receptacle (10) of moulded paper pulp has a flat circular base wall (12) and a side wall (14) of an inverted frusto-conical shape extending upwardly from the base wall to define a receiving volume. The upper edge of the side wall defines the periphery of an opening located above the base wall and has an outwardly projecting peripheral lip (22, 24) having at least two recessed portions (26, 28). The two recessed portions (26, 28) form first and second spaced-apart outwardly projecting lip portions (22, 24) which form convenient handles for the receptacle. In addition, the side wall (48) is provided with a stiffening or reinforcing shoulder (18) adjacent to its upper edge.

L'invention porte sur un réceptacle (10) de pâte à papier moulée. Le réceptacle comporte une paroi de base circulaire plate (12) et une paroi latérale (14) de forme frustoconique inversée s'étendant de la paroi de base vers le haut pour définir un volume de réception. Le bord supérieur de la paroi latérale définit la périphérie d'une ouverture située au-dessus de la paroi de base et présente une lèvre périphérique qui se projette vers l'extérieur (22, 24) munie d'au moins deux parties renfoncées (26, 28). Les deux parties renfoncées (26, 28) forment des première et seconde parties de lèvre espacées se projetant vers l'extérieur (22, 24) qui forment des poignées de réceptacles commodes. De plus, la paroi latérale (48) comporte un épaulement de raidissement ou de renforcement (18) adjacent à son rebord supérieur.
