ABSTRACT Articles are moulded from reaction setting compositions by deaerating the main ingredient of the composition and mixing the main ingredient with a minor ingredient which produces the reaction required for setting of the composition. The composition is then flowed under air-less conditions into the bottom of vented but essentially closed mould cavities at a rate which does not produce any significant increase in pressure within the mould cavity. The composition is then allowed to set before the mould is stripped away from the finished article. - 1 -
