ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mouldable preparation particularly suitable for the manufacture of gramophone records and which preparation comprises a vinyl chloride polymer and from 5 to 80% by weight of an oxidized product having a boiling point above 350°C at 760 mmHg, the oxidized product having been obtained by oxidizing a mineral oil distillate or a solvent extract of a mineral oil distillate, which distillate or solvent extract has an aromatic carbon content corresponding to a VGC-value of more than 0.85.
