A moulding machine for paper fibre articles has a mould made from sintered particles. A measured shot of liquidised pulp is drawn through the mould using a piston on the other side. The article is dried in situ with pressurised hot air. Large moulds may be fabricated by welding together sintered sections. A new method of preparing the fibres, namely by liquidisation, is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne une machine à mouler des articles en fibre à papier, qui comprend un moule fait de particules frittées. Une dose de pâte liquéfiée est étirée à travers le moule à l'aide d'un piston situé de l'autre côté. L'article est séché sur place avec de l'air chaud sous pression. De grands moules peuvent être fabriqués par assemblage par soudage de sections frittées. L'invention concerne en outre un nouveau procédé de préparation de fibres, à savoir par liquéfaction.
