A mould for casting a component onto a body comprising first and second mould parts arranged to be disposed on respective ones of the opposite sides of the body. At least one of the parts defines at least a portion of a mould cavity that is in communication with the body to allow for casting of the component on to the body. The mould has particular application to direct casting of polymeric couplings on to pipe ends.

Moule conçu pour mouler une pièce sur un corps et comprenant un premier et un second élément de moule à disposer sur chacun des côtés opposés du corps. Au moins un des éléments forme au moins une partie d'une cavité du moule, cette partie communiquant avec le corps pour permettre le moulage de la pièce sur le corps. Le moule est notamment utilisé pour mouler directement des raccords polymères sur des extrémités d'un tuyau.
